Food Lifeline is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s leading hunger relief organization, which works through a network of member organizations to feed hungry people. Last year, over 31 million pounds of food was secured, which is the equivalent of more than 24 million meals to feed hungry families and individuals throughout Western Washington. Food Lifeline provides food to 686,000 people through their network of nearly 300 emergency feeding programs including food banks, hot meal programs and shelters.  96 cents of every dollar they receive goes directly towards procuring and distributing food to hungry people in Western Washington.
